Welcome to LPJZ Collision Course where you can find almost anything about
Linkin Park and Jay-Z; Shawn Carter. Collision Courses features Linkin Park and Jay-Z in a series of Mash-ups.
Even though Collision Course only has 6 songs, it is one of the best records on the streets right now.
On our site, there will be lots of stuff to do such as info, biography,
music, pictures, discography and much more. We will also give you updates on when they are playing or when they are
having a concert so check this site often to see what we changed.
Since the beginning of their career Linkin Park have been dedicated to
producing music in a style not seen before - crossing rap and hip-hop with rock and electronica, even hints of classical and
orchestral, and to an extent, even pop. Linkin Park are about pushing the envelope and
breaking down the boundaries of commercialisation.
The fusion of Linkin Park and Jay-Z working together on the new mash-up album has sparked
the most attention and controversy seen within the business for a while.
"Collision Course" though, is the first time that the concept of mixing two genres, two songs
and two styles from different artists has been incorporated into a full studio album, and even a live performance. The original
idea was sparked by MTV, who asked Jay-Z to feature in the first of a series of these "Mash-ups". He was asked which artist
he would like to collaborate with on the mash-up, and out of everyone he chose Linkin Park.
The live performance portion of Collision Course is being aired regularly on MTV and Fuse,
and the single "Numb/Encore" is getting alot of airplay.
